Dear Viewers today we are going to take a look into a wonderful destination situated at Malaysia, which is Langkawi Island. Langkawi is one of Malaysia’s best-known and most popular West Coast beach destinations. Blending historical attractions, great fare, excellent diving opportunities, exciting nightlife and dirt-cheap shopping, this duty-free island is truly an unforgettable experience that can be gained at this destination. Located  at the Andaman Sea 30km off the coast from Kuala Perlis, it is made up of a group of 99 islands, accessible by boat from Georgetown, Kuala Perlis, Kuala Kedah and Satun, Thailand, or by air from Georgetown in Penang, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore.

To tell the truth, one’s will be able to experience an indefinable memories through their travel towards Langkawi. Where, this Island were equipped with bulks of activities and amenities that would word of mouth among the tourists.

• Langkawi Cable Car : which is located at Pantai Kok and take the tourist on a unforgettable 20 minutes ride to the top of Gunung Machinchang and the one’s will be able to feel the green scenery of nature in this island. It comprises of 2 stations where the tourist will be able to experience different thing in both stations. At the top of the mount, souvenirs shops, food stall and even express photograph services were also offered. Skybridge is a famous bridge here as one does will be able to feel of flying on airs. Other than that, one’s may also climb up a set of stair case to cut through a thin forest to reach the observatory deck above and this will give one’s thousand of smile.

• Dataran Lang -  Dataran lang also known as Eagle Square. The 12 metre-tall statue is one of the island’s most instantly recognizable monuments. Located at the southeast corner of Pulau Langkawi, besides offering beautiful views of Kuah Bay, Dataran Lang has beautiful miniature fountains, terraces and bridges, making it the ideal place for those postcard-perfect holiday photos. The square is a good place to watch ferries ply across the harbor but plan a trip here early in the morning or late in the evening when the sun is at its least intense.

• GALERIA PERDANA- Basically it is a museum displaying gifts and awards presented to former Malaysian Prime Minister Tun Dr. Mahatir and his wife, Dr. Siti Hasmah Mohd Ali. Opened in 1995, it is set a little further down the road from the Langkawi Bird Paradise in Mukim Air Hangat, approximately 11km from Kuah. The things kept here almost around 2500 exhibits and diverse such as Porcelain, crystal, silver, textile and copper pieces as well as weapons, plaques, musical instruments, Islamic art and paintings are all on display at the Galeria Perdana.

SUNSET RIVER CRUISE

• Langkawi Sunset Cruise is a mid-afternoon day trip that takes you sailing on the Andaman Sea as you kick back and relax on board a yacht. Where once will be able to feels the natural beauty of the island while being cool and relax on the cruise. The cruise takes one’s within almost-touching distance of some of Langkawi’s unique limestone outcrops and exotic marine life and etc.

• Langkawi Bird Paradise is a five-acre park along Jalan Ayer Hangat. Basically it is a tropical garden with over 2,500 exotic birds from 150 species such as canaries, owls, eagles, toucans, horn bills and flamingos. The park also features a walk-in aviary with a 15m man made waterfall. The Langkawi Bird Paradise is the first fully covered wildlife park in Asia and has over 1,500 birds that fly freely, with sections that strongly resemble the natural habitats of each different species of bird life.

Yet, there are also some other destinations such as Underwater world, Crocodile Farm Tour, Telaga 7, Mahsuri Tomb and Etc. LIMA @ Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition is also a famous event being organized at this island and attracts more tourist each year.
